Has anyone seen or heard about these guys?

http://www.automationgame.com/

I stumbled across their website this afternoon. The engine designer/builder looks pretty darn impressive, I must say!

It is only early days, by the look of it, but jeez it looks good!  ;D

Looks realy cool.

This sort of video should also be made by the GPRM team:

I don't think it takes much time to make the video.

I have been checking the automation game website even now and then looking for an update. It seems it has been a little quiet on the main page, but they're still plugging away from what I can gather from tweets and the new wiki page:

There are again some new updates.
The difference is really night and day between GPRM and the Automotiongame in terms of updates...  ;)

I might be wrong, but I would imagine Automation's updates will slow down a lot as a release approaches. And it will also require a heck of a lot less tuning than GPRM - database based (lol) management games are a pain for this. Don't worry stuff is happening it's just really really dry at the moment. Trust me, you'd get bored of hearing "just fixing/tuning/tweaking/updating this module/feature/screen" once a week.

Yes in terms of visual updates, but as hampshire said thats because is still quite early, i recently had a look at the latest build of the gprm exe, and its great, but i dont think anyone would be interested in hearing how its been updated, its really not a visual process. Anyway bit of a serious answer for a tongue in cheek comment!

Automation update - it isn't really a game update, more of situation-report and pre-ordering opportunity (ie fund raising):
