Teams use new chassis near end of season

Towards the end of the season some teams manage to get their chassis for the next season ready pretty early.
Appearently when they get it finished they also start using it right away, this causes their chassis rating to drop back quite a bit in the final few races (either because their new chassis is bad or rulechanges make the new chassis slower).
Anyway, they fit their new chassis for the next season it causes them to lose about. These screens will explain:

Ive had the same occur in my first run through; McLaren, Renault, BMW, Williams and Spyker have all had there new chassis approved at the end of sept/start of oct and caused there performance to fall of a cliff. McLaren have gone from being P3/4 in qualifying to not getting out of Q1.
