I tried sacking Massa and hire Rahal as a first driver in Ferrari, in qual Rahal was 3 and raikkonen 1, in the race Rahal was almost most of the time in the first place and Raikkonen second until he broke the gearbox.
Maybe is not so realistic a such big performance race for an 18 years old debut driver, in addition he didn't know the circuit...

It's just a consideration: it should be nice and more realistic to see gradual improve of performance for a young and new f1 driver instead just see him winning so easy.

corriereromano, driver performance calibrations need attention, I notice that some of the data ratings actually reward in the wrong direction.  I will try and fix these so they correctly reflect the data ratings for Specific Circuit knowledge, GP Experience, Confidence etc which I can see are decreasing driver impact when they should be increasing and vice versa.  Try the same thing on 2.15 and please add your comments then.  F1CMPM

Ok, i finished my first season with Ferrari. At the end 18 years old Rahal win the season (a bit unrealistic), with a lot of poles and fastest laps. Very quick guy, he was almost always better than Raikkonen in qual and race.

I have played all season without any big bug, I developed the car to gain almost 1 second to Mclaren.
Still some points in the game, in my point of view, are to improve:

1) I got difficult renewing staff member, they never accept contracts.
2) Have again a 0 contract 0 deal with Rahal after renewed him.
3) Design new car has to be recalibrate (always some value are at almost 0% and few at 80%, very high)

4) There is still a bug button for left drivers in the choosing of tyre if the race is wet
5) Parade lap is too fast, i don't have time to slow the accelerated time and i got always a start race at x10
6) Performance of young and inexperience drivers has to be recalybrate.
7) I got two races with "No fuel bug". Almost all retired with "no fuel".

That last one doesn't happen if you run the race lower than 10x speed. Its being fixed i think.

Just to see the drivers performance through the season here is the standing, race by race. I replay the last race, Interlagos, that's why the points are different with other standing i posted. Rahal made an brillant season, Raikkonen was the runner up...

Improved in 2.1.5.  Young rookies will have the wind against rather than in their favour.

Now, in 2.1.5 exe, it seems much more realistic, i hired Vettel and sacked Massa (before i sacked Massa and then Badoer to get Vettel as 1st driver), as a young and unexperience driver he finished the race in a good third place, Raikkonen win the race. In qual Raikkonen got the pole, Vettel 7. It seems the drivers performance generally has a bit more realistic. I didn't notice drivers morale change after this good result.

I played BMW for a season and on average Kubica was 1s slower than Heidfeld in qualifying.
In races Kubica was pretty evenly matched to Heidfeld.

From what I saw in all teams the rookie drivers were about 1 second slow than their more experienced teammates. In races the difference was much smaller. For example Hamilton-Alonso at McLaren.

It's a bit weird like this.

Yeah I witnessed Hamilton quali 12th and after the 1st 2-3 laps he was 3rd!!! Its good to see drivers/teams get things wrong in quali. Obviously it can't be like this every race though.

I've also noticed this.Kovalainen is hopelessly slow (more so than in real life),Hamilton and Kubica are also quite slow.Ive even re-loaded before qualifying and they still seem slow.

I think in the last version 2.1.5 young drivers now are too slow comparing to more experience ones, the difference on the fastest lap has to be reduced a bit. Moreover i think young and unexperience drivers should have more possibility to spun off, make mistakes, get involved in accident or have bad starts comparing with more experience ones.

So at the end, i think you need just to reduce the difference in the fastest lap beetween a young and exp driver at the same average value, and add more "mistakes possibilities" for the young one. That could lead in a more realistic results.
